Introducing a completely new approach to general lighting – a remarkably efficient luminaire that brightens in all directions, creating a more natural interior lighting effect.

Developed by Germany’s leading lighting manufacturer Trilux® in collaboration with the British consultancy LAPD (Lighting and Product Design), Liventy extends ever so slightly into the space to emit soft, even illumination across task surfaces, floor, walls, and the ceiling plane itself. Adjustable to either of two positions to produce the desired level of illumination, its harmonious indirect and vertical light brightens the environment overall, eliminating the so-called “cave effect” common with other recessed lighting products. Superior lighting uniformity at the work plane (50% better uniformity than with standard troffers and a 30% improvement over drop basket type fixtures) provides exceptional comfort for critical tasks.

A range of lamping options – three or four 14W T5 or 24W T5HO, or two 55W Biax – allows you to tailor the light output of Liventy to meet the needs of a space and relevant codes. The luminaires are dimmable, either with standard 0-10 volt or addressable systems.

Liventy is simple to install. It requires virtually no maintenance. It is UL/cUL Damp Location Listed, and planet-friendly, using materials selected for recycling compatibility at the end of service life.

Liventy is surprisingly cost competitive with traditional recessed lighting products, and the entire high-performance product family – including recessed, pendant, and surface-mounted versions – is assembled in the U.S. for timely delivery throughout North America. Like all Énergie products, Liventy qualifies under the Buy American Act provisions of American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.
