| Pleasing to the eye in more ways than one. Astron is a truly elegant, progressive linear lighting solution for contemporary office spaces, conference rooms, reception areas and corridors. Developed by German manufacturer Trilux, it offers design-integrated pendants, linear wall-mount, and sconce configurations, all based on a novel wing shape. The decorative winged shells, trimmed in matte aluminum with translucent acrylic end caps, present an unusually lustrous, high style appearance. Astron is capable of lighting virtually any space with as many as four T5 high output lamps in a single 4-foot pendant. Its highly efficient, meticulously engineered low-brightness optical system uses acrylic lenses for precise distribution with minimal overhead glare. Computer screens, desktops and other task surfaces are bathed in soft, well-controlled direct/indirect light, optimizing conditions in any work environment. As a pendant, Astron may be specified in either a symmetric (23” x 3” cross- section) or asymmetric (13” x 3” cross-section) configuration. Astron wall-mount is a nominal 4’ long, using a winged extrusion identical to the pendants. Complementing this linear family, a unique Astron sconce uses the same extrusion in vertical configuration and may be adjusted to different angles on site.  |
