Remarkable floating disks of light.

With their innovative, ultra-flat diffusers, Opus pendants appear to float in mid-air, softly glowing discs edged in metallic silver, offering a unique contemporary design element in private offices, executive areas, conference rooms and corridors.

Opus’ visible light originates from a nearly invisible source. Exclusive transferal technology processes light sideways into the disk and imperceptibly downwards. An acrylic diffuser with precision phase-optical silk rings imparts extraordinary visual comfort for occupants of a space. Each ring is spaced so that light from the high-output T5 Circline lamp appears perfectly uniform and is primarily directed onto ceiling or wall surface, producing a characteristic halo effect. Minimal direct light is emitted gently through its diffused surface.

Developed by Regent of Basel, Switzerland, Opus is available as single, double and triple pendants as well as vertical and horizontal wall sconces, satisfying a range of lighting requirements.

(Left) Single, double or triple Opus pendants come with a fixed stem length that may be easily cut to fit.

(Right) The ADA-compliant Opus vertical sconce can be used to create a range of visual effects by using it solo, or in pairs or groups.

Optional Opus sconce color filters change the color of the acrylic diffuser while the light against the wall remains white.
